I'm sure I'm probably missing something, but I have tried on quite a few occasions to get Radegast to work on my system, but nothing seems to work. I have Mono installed, and also a 1.23 based viewer, but no matter what I try it still proves elusive. Not to put too fine a point on it, the installation instructions are somewhat vague.
Any illumination would be very welcome.

I recently was able to get it running on a G5 powerPC running Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick. Most of the trouble I had involved installing missing mono thing, in-particular libmono-winforms. And others but my memory is lacking.
Amazing really give that this in a powerPC so if you are using Intel hardware it ought to work. Keep trying and post error messages.

On ubuntu it should be just matter of: apt-get install mono-complete mono Radegast.exe (in the directory where you unpacked .zip with radegast binary)
