Why the change to the much more complicated nested directory/folder design layout for cached files? Now it's just annoying going through all of the folders to find the most recently created files. Please add an option to use the old single folder cache design.

How would putting cache in so many subfolders FIX performance issues? If anything, I would think, it would make a program work harder to find a file. I would still prefer an option to use the old single-directory cache layout...

I would still prefer an option to use the old single-directory cache layout... On Windows and other OSes most file operations can get VERY slow when there are thousand or more files in a single directory. For a cache this is just about the worst thing that can happen.

So do it right then and use a single file with an index. Regardless, I had to downgrade in order to retain the single-folder cache structure. I'd still like an option to use the old cache structure.

It is done right, now. The cache folder and files are not meant to be browsed and used manually anyway.
